The story behind Enyi is one of heart & inspiration. The name itself, derived from the Igbo language, translates to "friend." West Africa being closely linked to the origins of rum, the use of the word Enyi is our homage to those who conceptualised the beginning of what we now know as rum.
Just as friendships enrich our lives, our brand is founded on the belief that businesses too can nurture bonds and bring people closer together. Our founder's personal experiences highlighted the profound impact of strong friendships, and thus Enyi was born as a tribute to those who uplift and support one another.
Flavour Profile
We have unlocked the secrets of time and flavour, crafting a barrel-aged rum that is nothing short of extraordinary.
The process is a fusion of passion and precision. We start with pot distilled rum which is aged in carefully chosen oak barrels. Over time, the wood imparts its character, as vanilla and cinnamon notes delicately infuse the spirit, creating a harmony of flavors that dance on the palate. But the showstopper is the cherry wood infusion—adding a unique dimension that speaks to our commitment to innovation and artisanal craftsmanship.

Awards
Less than 6 months after the launch of our first batch of Enyi Gold, the product has been bestowed the Rum Trophy at the prestigious Michelangelo International Wine & Spirits Awards.
The Rum Trophy is awarded to the best rum in the category. The result is judged by 24 judges – 6 local and 18 international.
The judging takes place via a blind tasting method celebrating the elegant combination of flavours.

ADD TO SHAKER
3/4 ice 2 shot Enyi
1 shot Van Der Hum
Juice of one lime
4 shots Pineapple Orange Juice
ARRANGE GLASS
Once all the ingredients have been added into the shaker. Shake well! Pour all contents including ice into a glass. Pour about 5ml of cherry/strawberry syrup into the glass Take a few mint leaves and activate it (clapping into your hands) and add to the top of the drink Enjoy it!

Rum Ricky
ADD TO SHAKER
3/4 ice
Double shot of Enyi
1 shot of Simple Syrup
1/2 shot of lime juice
Leaves of 2 mint sprigs
ARRANGE GLASS
Once all the ingredients have been added into the shaker. Shake well! Place 4-6 cut up pieces of lime into the glass and muddle Pour all contents including ice into all the glass. Activate mint (clapping into your hands) and add to the top of the drink Enjoy it

Old Fashioned
Ingredients
4 ice cubes
1 shot of Enyi
1/2 shot of simple syrup
1/2 slice orange
few drops of bitters
ARRANGE GLASS
The above is for one drink. Put 4 ice cubs in a glass. Add 1 shot of Enyi Gold Rum Add 1/2 shot of Simple Syrup 1/2 Slice of orange Add a few drops of bitters Stir the contents gently. Add a piece of zest for decor. Enjoy it!
